Caltex CEO Represents Sri Lanka at 2006 World Marketing Conference

conferenceApril 6, 2006 : Mr. Kishu Gomes, Managing Director/CEO for Caltex Lubricants Lanka Limited has been invited to the World Marketing Conference in Bangkok. He will address the audience on ‘Global Perspectives of Marketing and Branding: The Future Challenges’.

 

The 2006 World Marketing Conference will commence on the 27th of March to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the Marketing Association of Thailand. This event will be ceremonially inaugurated by the Prime Minister of Thailand, H.E Dr. Thaksin Shinawatra. The forum is designed to share global experiences and invigorate new marketing thinking. In a rapidly evolving global market, marketers are constantly challenged to refresh their knowledge base and fine tune their competencies in order to win in the extensively competitive landscape. Mr. Gomes performance during his tenure leading the Chevron Corporation in Sri Lanka has been underpinned with a strong brand philosophy. It is this vision; the Thai Marketing Association hopes to draw from to benefit the participants.
