Caltex Rugby League & Clifford Cup SMS winners rewarded

Winners of the Caltex Rugby League and Clifford Cup SMS Challenge received fabulous gift packs at a ceremony held recently at the Caltex head office.

The SMS Challenge commenced with the first live telecast of the Caltex League match played between CR & FC and Airforce at Longden place. The last live telecast for the League Tournament was of the decider match on 3rd July, played between CR & FC and Kandy SC in Colombo.

 

The SMS Challenge for the knockout tournament commenced with the quarter final match played between the Army SC & Navy SC. The last live telecast for the Clifford Cup was for the finals which was held in the Bogamabara stadium in Kandy, on 1st August 2010, between Navy SC & Kandy SC. Over 4000 SMS’s were recorded at the end of both tournaments.
