3-Day Special First Aid Training Program

Organized by Sri Lanka Red Cross Society in Collaboration with Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC and the Sri Lanka Police

On December 19th, a significant milestone was marked with the commencement of a 3-day special first aid training program. Organized by the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society in collaboration with Chevron Lubricants Lanka PLC and the Sri Lanka Police, the event was held at the Sri Lanka Traffic Police Headquarters. This program represents the initial steps in delivering Chevron Lubricant Lanka PLC’s Road Safety Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda.

The training program, aimed at enhancing first aid skills, was graced by prominent figures including Mr. Jagath Abeysinghe, Hon. Senior Vice President of the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society, Mr. Ranmal Kodituwakku, Senior Deputy Inspector General of Police, and Mr. Priyantha Weersooriya, Inspector General of Police (Sri Lanka). Their presence underscored the importance and commitment towards improving road safety and first aid preparedness in the community.

This collaborative effort highlights the dedication of all involved parties to foster a safer environment on the roads, ensuring that first responders are well-equipped to handle emergencies efficiently and effectively.
