Solar PV System Extension

Phase 1 – 100kVA system
Plane view of solar panel installation

Reason For Phase 1 implementation
• Electricity cost saving opportunity.
• Contribution for carbon foot print reduction.
• National responsibility to contribute power generation since srilanka is in power crisis.

Location: Production Building roof top

• Annual power generation = 131,760 kWh
• CO2 emission reduction = 95.1 tons
• Number of panels = 304
• Panel capacity = 330W
• Annual Electricity cost saving = 1,449,360 LKR = 4,026 USD

Phase 2 - 100kVA system
Location : Warehouse building roof top

Reason For Phase 2 implementation
• Electricity cost saving opportunity.
• Battery backup system implementation to run warehouse operation during power cut.
• Contribution for carbon foot print reduction.
• National responsibility to contribute power generation Because srilanka is in power crisis.
• Government predicted that current tariff will increase by 200% in 2022.
• There will be huge increase in solar PV material price in 2023.

• Total Power Generation after 2nd phase = 200kVA
• Expected total power generation = 264,000 kWh
• CO2 emission reduction = 190 tons
• Annual cost saving = 2,904,000 LKR = 8,066 USD
• Plant total solar installation capacity = 700kVA
